Migrants seek probe in relief distribution

JAMMU: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders Organisation urged upon the State Government to enhance cash assistance for relief holders to the tune of Rs 400 per day per soul and sought compensation of Rs 50 lakh for over-aged Kashmiri Migrant relief holders.
In the meeting held here on Wednesday, Organisation President, Ajay Bhat said that genuine relief holders have been put in dustbin by having of fake relief cards.
Bhat demanded probe in the distribution of relief.
“The bio-data form of over-aged relief holders will be released very soon so that relief should be distributed among the genuine beneficiaries,” he said.
