Bhadarwah : A middle aged man was found under snow dead under mysterious circumstances at village Sharora in Tehsil Bhadarwah of District Doda on Monday.
According to reports, people noticed a man lying in snow in forest area near village Sharora, which made them suspicious, raised an alarm and informed the police.
After receiving the information, a police party from nearby Bhalra Police Post immediately reached the spot and shifted him to Sub District Hospital Bhadarwah, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“We have started the investigation under 174 CrPc at Police Station Bhadarwah. As per preliminary findings deceased left house in the evening but did not come back. As of now, the exact cause of death could not be ascertained yet as we are waiting for the autopsy report,” said SDPO Bhadarwah Sardar Sajad Ahmed Khan. The body had been identified as Rattan Singh (42) son of Badri Nath resident of village Sharora, Bhadarwah. After conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
