JAMMU: A meeting of Medical & Surgical Traders Association was held in Jammu to discuss various demands and problems faced by the members of association. During the meeting, after detailed deliberations, the participants unanimously decided to take up issues with Managing Directors of JKMSCL J&K, PMC J&K, DHS J&K and all Medical Superintendents of Associated Hospitals of Jammu & Kashmir.
Major demands highlighted during the meeting included reduction of Tender fee/processing fee and EMD, on time payments, penalizing manufacturers instead of local suppliers in case of non-execution of orders, excluding penalty clause, settling legal cases at the earliest, providing time frame for verification of bills, equipments verified by experts or end users may not be verified by the board and in case of meager quantity orders, logo of JKMSCL should be exempted etc.
