JAMMU: Finally the district administration Jammu has set up a medcial board to ascertain mental status of Yasir Alfaz, accused of the desecrating famous Aap Shambu Temple on June 14, which caused enormous resentment in the winter capital elsewhere in Jammu region.
On the directions of District Magistrate, the Principal GMC Dr Z A Gillani on Friday constituted a three member team comprising Dr Anil Mahajan, HOD, Department of Medicine, Dr B N Bhougal, Medicine Department, Dr Shabnam Rivees, Department of Psychiatry, Dr B R Kundal, Department of Neurology, Dr Rakesh Banal, Department of Psychiatry.
The board will examine the accused in Government Psychiatry hospital on Saturday before submitting its report to the GMC, Principal.
