PULWAMA: A mega health camp was organized by Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) block Pulwama for children aged zero to 18 years. The camp was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Pulwama.
The camp was organised at Government High School Abhama in collaboration with Dist Development Commissioner, Chief Medical Officer and Block Medical Officer Pulwama from 4th to 6th June, 2015.
During the camp 2,500 children were screened for various diseases. Among them around 1,000 children were given free medicines at the camp. Ninety children were referred to Early Intervention Centre Pulwama and 11 referred to Tertiary Care Hospitals Srinagar.
Routine laboratory blood and thyroid function tests were done free of cost on the spot.
