Meaningless opposition of PM by Congress

Prof. Kali Dass

Pakistan had been targeting Indian posts on LoC and IB of J and K State since its inception and not only this Pak Army took away even heads of two of our army jawans. But there was no effective reply by the UPA Govt. Pakistan had started an undeclared war against India and all the time UPA Govt. response was not of that intensity which could discourage or stop Pakistan from ceasefire violation.
This time Pakistan started heavy firing with mortar and other sophisticated weapons killing about eight men and injuring nearby hundred persons. Union Govt. under the leadership of Narendra Modi when failed to bring around Pakistan for not provoking shelling, decided to retaliate and responded the firing with full force which compelled Nawaz Sharief to go to UN for complaining twice and simultaneously reply by the Indian side was also given and thereafter as per the news, there was silence on 10th of Oct. and there was not even a sight bullet from Pak-side.
Pakistan again started firing mortar shells on 11th night till morning and retaliation was the reply from the Indain forces. Over this criticism made by Gulam Nabi Azad that Govt. has fallen flat is nothing but seems to side with Pakistan. Reply on ceasefire violation is not an instant cup of coffee.
Many leaders of the regional as well as national political parties (particularly Congress) had been criticizing Modi for not taking any action. Even after the effective respons and its results which surfaced as mentioned above for a complete lull on the boarder, Rahul Gandhi and G.N Azad are not stopping criticism. Repeating the statement of  Modi “Bahaut Jaldi Sabb Theek Ho Jayega”  Rahul Gandhi seems to be childish and now  G.N Azad’s Statement that shelling by Pak is correlated with Modi in power means that unprovoked firing during UPA Govt. could also be related to UPA’s weak response to Pak Army. Some other Congress leaders were seen in different channel criticising Modi in reference to the responding to Pakistan, some time one fails to understand who is who and on which side they are standing. Rahul Gandhi must have asked his mother Sonia Gandhi and Congress top leaders including Azad. One cannot say with confidence that when Rahul Gandhi would get maturity in his life.
At the time when a neighbouring country has resorted to firing on our borders opposition leaders instead of supporting the nation, are criticising the country’s PM and that for what? Only to show their political existence.
Army is of the country and that is not of any party, Azad should have proved it earlier when Congress ruled the country and all the states, weak response of Congress was the encouragement to Pakistan and all the time showing a weak counterpart can never be termed as a good governance.
At the same time statements refering to Ambedkar and Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phulley in Maharashtra rallies by Rahul Gandhi are very funny saying that these Mahapursh always fought for the rights of the poor and the same was done by Congress ‘a white lie of Rahul and Congress’.
Had it been the case, the OBCs of the whole country would have not suffered in the hands of the Congress after independence. One must recall that Rajiv Gandhi father of Rahul Gandhi opposed Mandal Commission Report. It was V.P Singh who rescued OBCs and granted 27 per cent reservation but in the Parliament Rajiv Gandhi consumed about twelve glasses of water to end his anti Mandal speech and a similar act has been done in J and K by which birth place of Azad village Bhalesa (Bhadarwah) is enjoying 20 per cent reservation on the name of RBA a looted share of the State OBCs.  Terming Modi as a weak Prime Minister may be correct in reference to corruption because Congress which was very powerful only looted the nation’s property through scams, scams and scams only.
Congress must mend its ways and policies and should also shun its old statements usually used as Phrases as “we are committed to uplift the poor” but never heard the voice of the poor. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and other top leaders like G.N Azad of congress make statements which only stand for pseudo truths like that “Congress has developed all sections of the society” but never said that Congress stopped the development of the OBCs of the whole country in general and J and K State in particular and marred their due rights in the free country since 1947.
Congress has lost its full faith among the country’s people and should not comment  as per the public verdict given to it in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections and is also not even able to oppose as an opposition party in the Parliament.
