MBS Club Simbal, BSB Club Poonch register wins

1st 5s Hockey Tournament

JAMMU: MBS Hockey Club and BSB Hockey Club Poonch registered win in the ongoing 1st 5s Hockey Tournament, organized by MBS Hockey Club Simbal under the aegis of Hockey J&K, here on Monday.
In the first match, MBS Hockey Club faced off against Dashmesh Hockey Club, with MBS emerging victorious with a scoreline of 8-4 goals. Sarabjit Singh, DDC Ramgarh, Distt. Samba was the Chief Guest while Chanchal Singh and Satwant Singh, Advisors of Sikh Coordination Committee, graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.
The second match showcased a battle between Khalsa Warriors Gole Gujral and BSB Hockey Club Poonch, ultimately won by BSB Hockey with a close score of 9-8 goals. Harminder Singh, Deputy Director Prosecution, JK Police Crime Branch Jammu, presided over the match as the Chief Guest, with Om Prakash Khajuria from the State Building Organization serving as the Guest of Honour.
The event saw the presence of notable personalities namely Rajinder Singh, former President of Hockey India, along with Rajinder Koul, Daljeet Singh, Ishan Sharma, Rajinder Singh Nethu (President, MBS Hockey Club), Gurmeet Singh Meeta (Joint Secretary, MBS Hockey Club), Harmeet Singh (Treasurer, MBS Hockey Club), Jasprit Singh (Secretary, MBS Hockey Club), and Ajmeet Singh, alongside a large contingent of enthusiastic supporters.
The technical panel, led by Iqbal Singh and comprising Daljeet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, aranveer Singh, Sukhpreet Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Gursimran Singh, and Samiksha Kumari, played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient organization of the tournament.
