GULABGARH: Panthers Party State President and ex-MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia on Thursday reiterated that re-organisation of State is the only viable option for permanent solution of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said after re-organisation of State, Jammu would have separate Chief Minister and Kashmir has its own.
“Panthers party has launched a movement for separate Jammu State for seeking right and justice for people of Jammu region,” he asserted.
Movement started for separate Jammu State by Panthers Party reached Gulabgarh of Reasi District on Saturday.
Leading the Haq-insaaf Yatra, Mankotia addressed number of rallies at Pagyal, Laar, Angraala, Mulaas, Tooli Banna Panchayats of Gulabgarh area.
He reiterated that reorganisation of State is the only solution for Jammu and Kashmir.
“Until separate Chief Minister for Jammu and Kashmir region is appointed till then no permanent solution is viable for trouble torn State.” He said and appealed to the general masses to support the movement started by Panthers Party for separate Jammu State.
Criticisting the callous attitude of the district administration, Mankotia said three years have passed when landslide struck in Mulaas in 2014 and turned 28 houses into debris.
Unfortunately after passage of three years, government and district administration has failed to provide compensation and forced these families to spend their lives in tents, he added.
Govt and district administration should provide Pucca houses to the families of landslide sufferers, Mankotia demanded.
He also criticised the government for its non-serious approach towards PMGSY road from Bagga to Gulabgarh which is still incomplete after the passage of eight years and demanded to complete the road as early as possible so that people of the far flung areas can avail the benefit of road connectivity.
Panther Party’s Secretary Bashir-ud-din and Rafiq Chandel also addressed the gatherings.
