JAMMU: Shaheed Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club, Poonch appreciated the decision of J and K State Sports Council (JKSSC) to set up provincial committees by appointment veteran volleyball player and Vice President of the Volleyball Association of J and K, H.S Gill as member.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Mohd Tariq, members of the club said that the appointment of experienced person like Gill shall go a long way in encouraging sports in Jammu and Kashmir.
Important to mention here that the JKSSC has formed two provincial level committees to guide the autonomous sports body in development of sports in the State.
