KATRA: Two-day management development programme on ‘Strengthening Lending Decisions to MSMEs’ was inaugurated successfully at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University on Saturday.
Organised by Faculty of Management, SMVD University, the programme aims at equipping the participants with necessary skills, perspectives and strategies to enable them to build a sustainable and healthy MSME credit portfolio. The programme witnessed participation from officers of various bank organisations like Jammu and Kashmir Bank, State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, J&K Grameen Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce.
During the inaugural ceremony, Prof. D. Mukhopadhyay, Dean Faculty of Management, spoke about the challenges and issues facing the MSME sector of Indian economy.
Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra, the Organising Secretary of the programme, briefed the participants about the programme.
