SRINAGAR: Continuing its drive against the drug menace, police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered Bhang powder and Charas on his instance in Ashmuqam area of Anantnag District. Following a tip off, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Ashmuqam, Shabir Ahmad Dar under the supervision of SDPO Pahalgam, Muzaffer Hussain arrested a drug peddler identified as Sonaullah Wagay, son of Ghulam Mohammad Wagay, resident of Chanigam Ashmuqam.Police recovered 900 grams of Bhang powder and half a kilogram of Charas on his instance.A case has been registered against him and investigation has been taken up.
