JAMMU: Maharaj Ranjit Club (MRC) Simbal Camp, MBS Club Makhanpur Simbal and Zorawar Club Satwari won their respective matches in the league round of the ongoing Junior Hockey under-19 Championship, organised by Hockey Jammu and Kashmir, here on Monday.
In the first match, the MRC Simbal Camp blanked Young Star Hockey Club Simbal Camp 3-1. Mandeep Singh Paramjot Singh and Amandeep Singh scored goal in 7th, 10th and 16th minutes respectively for MRC and a lone goal was scored by Taliwnder Singh in 39th minute for Young Star Club.
In second match of the day, MBS Club also made it big 8-0 win against Shaheed Bhagat Singh Club, courtesy Gaganjot Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Karanjeet Singh and Shivam Sharma struck two goals each.
In another match, Zorawar Club Satwari defeated Bhag Bhain Club, Gole Gujral 4-0. Harish Vaid and Chetanya Bhat added two goals each.
Today’s matches were officiated by the technical panel comprising Joginder Singh, J.S Bali, Amarjeet Singh, J.S Reen, Charanjeet Singh, Karanjit Singh, Ravinder Singh and M.S Reen.
Earlier, the teams, played in today’s matches, interacted with special guests, Treasurer Hockey India, Rajinder Singh, General Secretary Hockey J and K, Romal Singh as also Dr Taran Singh, Vinod Saini and Tejinder Singh.
