UDHAMPUR: Lok Vikas Dal (LVD), Udhampur today carried out plantation drive in the premises of Slathia Park, here. Members of the LVD led by State President Vikram Singh Slathia besides number of local citizens planted varieties of saplings in the premises of Slathia Park after holding cleanliness drive.
First sapling was planted by newly posted Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Municipal Corporation Udhampur, Santosh Kumar Kotwal.
It is pertinent to mention here that the park was adopted by Slathia who committed to keep it neat, clean and eco friendly.
Vikram disclosed that LVD is maintaining the park with lush green trees, flowers and also erected benches to for public. Prominent persons who joined the drive include Kuldeep Singh, Omesh Kumar, Ram Kishore, Amit Singh, Raj Kumar, Arjun Singh, Mohinder Singh, Kali Dass and Ram Paul.
