POONCH: A Katcha house was gutted in village Kanuiyan, district Poonch when a LPG cylinder caught fire causing a blast in the house. According to the villager Ajit Singh son of Nama Singh resident of Kanuiyan, there was a huge blast when leaking pipe and cylinder caught fire in the kitchen. He said that due to this fire the Kacha house constructed with timber, was completely gutted. People of the village reported the matter to the police and the revenue authorities. Tehsildar Poonch Jehangir Khan, when contacted said that the team of revenue officials will be sent to assess the loss and relief as admissible will be recommended.
