How long shall BJP mislead Jammu people over J&K Accession Day?;WHY NOT DECLARE IT A STATE HOLIDAY

 STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: On Wednesday senior state BJP leaders attended a seminar marking 70th Accession Day in party headquarters here.
In the evening they assembled at Tawi Bridge and participated in candle march while remembering all those martyrs who saved the day and defended the frontiers during invasion of Kashmir by Kabalis’.
All the panelists who participated in the seminar unanimously appealed to the Government for declaring 26th October as state holiday and also called upon the people to celebrate the day as a festival.
Deputy Chief Minister Prof Nirmal Singh, BJP Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna and state BJP Chief Sat Sharma were present during the seminar along with other experts and senior lawyers.
Question is if these three important BJP leaders are not in a position to raise the issue of declaring October 26 as a state holiday then who is supposed to follow the issue to its logical conclusion.
Last year too when a campaign was initiated by the Jammu based political parties, the state BJP leaders and cabinet ministers had misled the people of Jammu region and diluted the campaign.
What is stopping Prof Nirmal Singh from taking up the matter with Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and discuss the same in the State Cabinet before announcing the day as state foundation day besides declaring a state holiday.
Why Deputy CM is only appealing to the State Government and not doing the needful to address the long pending demand of the people of Jammu region?
Already July 13 is celebrated as Martyrs Day, birthday and death anniversaries of state/central leaders are celebrated as holidays after paying rich tributes then why October 26 should not be celebrated as state foundation day.
