REASI: During a Police – Public meeting held in Arnas under the chairmanship of SDPO Arnas, the locals demanded additional police post in the area. SDPO Arnas Zaffar Iqbal Nawaz conducted a Police – Public meet in Arnas in which over 70 villagers and prominent persons of Thakrakote, Panasa, Chakalwala and Gari participated. Sarpanch Kewal Singh, Sarpanch Mohd Shafi, Sarpanch Rajinder Singh, Sarpanch Shamsher Singh, Sarpanch Ch Abdul and another Mohd Shafi who addressed the meet said that two additional police posts should be established in this vast and scattered area for the safety and security of the people besides affectively controlling the bovine smuggling. The SDPO assured the people that their demand will be submitted to the higher authorities for consideration.
