JAMMU: Little Angels of Little Millennium Pre-Schools branches at Roop Nagar and Gandhi Nagar, Jammu came dressed as Clowns with funny faces to celebrate Clown Day as part of the International Clown Week celebrations in the school.
Children were encouraged to do activities such as somersault, dance on the music, crawl through hoopla rings, pin the nose on the clown, laughed loudly like clowns and ended with an art activity.
The little angels mesemerised all by their colourful ensembles and playfulness.
Speaking during the special assembly conducted for the purpose, Akhila Magotra Chief Learning Officer shared that this has been proven true time and again but we forget to reinforce this simple truth with our little ones.
“Let’s all celebrate laughter with as much gusto as possible, to ensure that we teach our children the magic of laughter and the value of having a sense of humour.” She said. Laughter, she said, relaxes the whole body, boosts the immune system, decreases stress and pain.
Humour, she apprised the children and staff, was infectious and by sharing it we can spread happiness in the society.
She also appreciated children for their efforts in making the day special.
