JAMMU: The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India on Thursday signed MoU with J&K Grameen Bank for providing Life Insurance Coverage to savings Bank account holders of the Bank under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. A scheme announced by the Government of India in the budget
The MoU was signed by Ashok Thakur Divisional Manager and Chaitanya Sharma from LIC of India and Vagish Chander Sharma Chairman and Anita Sharma of the J&K Grameen Bank.
The scheme will give Life Coverage of Rs 2,00,000 between age 18 to 50 yrs in case of death due to accident or natural to accounts holders of the bank with very low premium off Rs 330.
