Inaugurates 100-bedded Girls Gujjar & Bakerwal hostel at Amnoo Aadpora and Ashmuji Kilam Gund Bridge

Chaired a meeting with the district administration of Kulgam to review the progress of Central & UT Govt’s sector-wise schemes & developmental projects. Also, inaugurated 100-bedded Girls Gujjar & Bakerwal hostel at Amnoo Aadpora and Ashmuji Kilam Gund Bridge.
Took a detailed review of various infra projects including construction of Transit Accommodations for Kashmiri Migrant Employees & directed concerned Deptt to expedite implementation. Today J&K is setting benchmarks in many sectors of development for other states & UTs to follow.
Stressed upon concerted action for more effective delivery of public services, benefits of welfare schemes, extending the benefits of self-employment schemes to youth & women and asked the district administration to be adequately sensitive to their needs and aspirations.
Directed officials to improve connectivity to tourist destinations of the district and effective measures to facilitate the tourists coming to Kulgam. District administration to set up a help desk to facilitate establishment of Industrial units in the district.
Interacted with various public delegations including ULB, PRIs, Fruit Growers Association, Gujjar Bakerwal & Pahari Community and assured speedy redressal of issues and specific grievances.
