Dear Editor,
Reservation to the downtrodden was provided in the Constitution to uplift the poorest of poor. But now the people, who are well-to-do are demanding reservation on caste lines. All reservation should be scrapped. Merit should be the main criterion for selections. Reservation should be there only for the following categories: Poor persons of any society, disabled persons, orphans, children of martyrs.
