SRINAGAR: Soon after the summer season in the Kashmir Valley, another season which is autumn season for the world, but ‘Harud’ or ‘Golden season’ has started to Kashmir, in which a large number of tourists, including filmmakers, theatre groups and SportsStar are visiting Kashmir to enjoy this unforgettable season.
Thousands of tourists are currently in Kashmir to witness its mesmerizing beauty in the autumn season when entire valley has transforms into a vibrant canvas of Red, Orange and Yellow.
Tourists visit Kashmir valley every season throughout the year but the autumn season has its own different charm. Chinar trees in the famous Mughal Gardens, Naseen Bagh Hazratbal Srinagar, Chinar Bagh Dalgate shine in their golden and brown colours, becoming a haven for nature lovers, seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of the urban life.
Speaking to the STATE TIMES , the tourist said , “When most parts of north India and other cities are under the blanket of pollution, we feel relieved from pollution here in Kashmir. We have heard a lot about this season now this year we came here and experienced all the good things on our own, we saw that the brown and Golden colour of the leaves gives a very unique and extremely beautiful look that attracts everyone especially tourists.”
Tourists from Delhi, Gujarat and Maharashtra are enjoying the autumn season in the Valley. A large number of tourists are coming and are spending good time at the Mughal Gardens and making their trip memorable during this season.
“I and amazed to see this natural beauty , if you travel around the world and you will not see such a beautiful place that will have such a pleasant effect on your personality ,”tourist from Mumbai told.
Another Tourist said, she was dreaming of visiting Kashmir during Autumn or Winter season but this year we have decided to visit Kashmir. We had a lot of fun here at the Mughal Gardens and Visited other famous places like Chashma Sahi, Hazratbal Naseem Bagh. We took a ride in Shikara in the world famous Dal Lake. Now I want to visit Kashmir in all seasons. “I am sure we have come at the right time to enjoy and get back some memorable moments of life,” she added.
Meanwhile, apart from local tourists a large number of foreign tourists also visit the gardens to witness its beauty and charming atmosphere created by the autumn leaves of Chinar Trees.
Tourists are visiting Nishat, Shalimar, Pari-Mahal, Chashmashahi, other gardens and Phalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg.
