Lalli residents deprived of Health Sub Center

UDHAMPUR: Tall claims made by Health Department and Health Minister have proved hollow as residents of village Lalli are still deprived of adequate health services in Block Panchari. Even despite repeated requests of local people of village Lalli, Health Department didn’t open much needed sub center in their village.
According to handout issued by senior Congress leader Ashwani Khajuria to whom a deputation of local aggrieved people headed by Sarpanch Silma Devi and other Panchs appraised about the miseries of the people, that it was the long pending and genuine demand of the people of far flung belt (Lalli) of block Panchari to open at least a health sub center since in case of need medicare facility ailing people have to go far off at Panchari.
Khajuira further said that Health Department had opened a health sub center 15km away. He said before opening of Health Sub Center at Lalli BMO Panchari held a meeting with local Sarpanchs and Panchs and other prominent persons of the locality and a decision was made to open health center at Lalli but breaking the commitments, the health center was opened five Km away from fixed location in Ward No.5 falling under Lalli.
He said that BMO Panchari is acting in dictatorial manner and keeping in view his ease he opened the health center against the viability and will of local people who are the worst suffer.
He urged the higher ups to personally intervene in the matter and open health center as per need and demand of local people. Later Khajuira met Deputy Commissioner Udhampur and appraised the miseries of the people for earliest redresses. Others present -Naib Sarpacnh Hoshiar Singh, Panch Radha Krishan, Panch Lehar Singh and Kashmira Singh.
