Kuldeep guides Rainawari to T20 final

JAMMU: Four wickets haul from Kuldeep on Friday powered Rainawari Cricket Club to superb 56 runs thereby guided the side to final of the Salute and Tribute to Saichen Martyrs’ Twenty20 Cricket Tournament underway at Parade Ground, here.
In the first semifinal of the tournament, Rainawari defeated National Cricket Club (NCC) Kuldeep took four wickets for only 14 runs to halt opponent run chase. Earlier, batting first, Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) set a target of 159 runs for eight wickets. Jatin Wadhana made highest 45 (off 32 balls, 4×4, 2×6) runs while Satish Kumar contributed 31. Ateev Saini contributed unbeaten 18. For NCC, Vijay Dogra secured four wickets for 15 runs while Mayanak Gautam took one. Later, chasing the target, NCC could make 102 runs when whole side was bundled out for 102 runs in 17.5 overs. Pranav Gupta and Aaditya Pratap were highest run getters with 22 runs each. Rakesh Kumar added 10 not out. It was Kuldeep, who halted NCC run chase taking away four wickets. Satish and Sourav Chopra shared two wickets each.
