JAMMU: : Kranti Dal has taken strong exception to the attitude of the State K Government and district administration for deliberately harassing the Amarnath Yatris arriving from different states of India by dividing families citing token system and has warned the administration to stop harassing Hindus and discriminating Jammuites.
To show their anger, Krandi Dal activists held a protest near Hari Market, here on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, State President, Kranti Dal, Pritam Sharma said that Jammuites have been facing the heat of a worst kind as on one hand business of Jammuites was being dented and on the other hand Amarnath Yatris were being harassed by dividing families during Yatra due to quota system in tokens.
He said that a number of hurdles were being created for smooth Yatra as the fourth bridge on Tawi was closed and traffic diverted to city area creating a mess in the city.
One group of Amarnath pilgrims including Chandresh Modi and Nirivj Patel and the other who came to Jammu from Gujarat for Holy Darshan of Baba Amarnath were also present in the protest as they are being harassed by the administration due to token system.
