KATHUA: In a successful operation, Rajbagh Police arrested one accused wanted in two different FIRs of kidnapping and rape charges. Accused namely Shafiq Wani son of Amir Hamza resident of Lehri Billawar wanted in case vide FIR No-141/16 under section 366/376/342/109 RPC and case vide FIR no-185/16 under section 380 RPC of Police Station Rajbagh was evading arrest since 6th July 2016 but finally was arrested from a Dhaba near CTM Kathua where accused was hiding and working as dish washer for the last ten days. It is pertinent to mention here that brother of the accused had filed a Habeas corpus petition in High Court that accused was in an illegal confinement of persons of Rajbagh area.
