JAMMU: State kho-kho players, Palbinder Singh and Bhanu Priya brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by attending the prestigious national coaching camp and playing for Team India at the national level.
After taking part in the national camp held at twin venues of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat, both the players playing for Team India, contested in the test matches against Rest of India, India Red and India Blue.
“While playing against other national level teams, raised out of the probable, who attended the India camp, Palbinder and Bhanu won gold after Team India took first position,” Senior Vice President of the Association, B.S Tirthi told.
Both these top State players were patted by President of the Association, Manmeet Singh on their return.
