JAMMU: Khalsa Club Gole Gujral clinched the senior hockey title of Jammu District which was organised by Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at K K Hakku Stadium, here on Saturday.
In the final, Khalsa Club outplayed Hiranagar Club 3-1 in the final. Surinder Singh (16th), Satvir Singh (53rd) and Amandeep Singh (65th) scored for the winning side. For Hiranagar, Harshdev Singh reduced the margin netting the ball in the 27th minute.
The title clash was officiated by the technical panel comprising Iqbal Singh, Jagjeet Singh and Joginder Singh.
In the final and prize distribution function, industrialist Rajiv Sharma was Chief Guest, who gave away the title trophies as also other individual prizes.
Divisional Sports Officer of the J and K State Sports Council, Ravi Singh, Harwant Singh Chib, Tajinder Singh and Ajeet Mehta were Guests of Honour.
