JAMMU: KC Sports Club hosted a first-ever breakthrough night Cricket tournament in its spacious 15000 square feet indoor Cricket hall for Cricket enthusiasts hailing from various Cricket clubs of Jammu from 17th to 21st October. In all, 20 teams from different clubs were in the fray for champions’ title in this indoor cricket contest.
Each night, four teams played their innings with great enthusiasm, seriousness and commitment, enjoying every moment of this novel and exciting way of playing cricket governed by a different set of rules.
An indoor Cricket match is played with eight players on each side and with 16 overs to bowl. The game is exceedingly brisk and laxity can lead to negative score in a match.
The tournament concluded on the evening of Tuesday. The winners were in high spirits at the closing ceremony and were doubly delighted when Arjun Chowdhary, the Managing Director of the Club conferred on them the award of free membership of the cricket facilities for one month.
