JAMMU: KC Public School retained number one ranking in the UT of J&K in the Co-ed Day-cum-Boarding School category for the fourth consecutive year as per the India School Rankings Survey 2023-24 conducted by the Education World in association with C-fore.
It is a renowned educational survey that assesses and ranks India’s top 4000 schools across 400 cities and towns.
The Education World is a prominent Indian monthly journal on education with Dilip Thakore as its Chief Editor, Summiya Yasmin as Managing Editor and Bhavin Shah as Chief Executive.
The magazine enjoys the reputation of giving wide coverage to events, trends, ideas and happenings in the field of education in the country and is highly revered for its surveys to assess the performance of educational institutions every year.
This year, a comprehensive approach was adopted to conduct the survey, involving interviews with 18,928 sample respondents including educationists, principals, teachers, SECA (Socio-economic Category A) parents, and senior school students. A team of 100 C-fore field researchers conducted these interviews over four months from June to September.
The rankings are based on a thorough evaluation of various parameters such as teacher welfare and development, competence of faculty, academic reputation, co-curricular activities, sports education, individual attention to students, teacher-pupil ratio, discipline, life skills education, infrastructure, value for money, management quality, parental involvement, quality of alumni and community service.
A prestigious ceremony to honour the outstanding schools featuring in the Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) was held at the J.W. Marriott, Aerocity, New Delhi, on October 13.
Raju Chowdhary, Chairman of KC Educational Society, and Arti Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC Public School, were present on the occasion to receive the award.
They received the award from world famous educationist Dr. Raymond Rabagila of Stanford, USA.
Speaking on the occasion, they expressed their sincere gratitude to parents, teachers and students of KC Public School who have collectively played a pivotal role in elevating the school to the top position in the city and in the UT of J&K.
This achievement is a testament to the fact that KC Public School is committed to providing a nurturing and empowering learning environment with focus on academic excellence, character development and holistic approach towards education.
