KC Gurukul Public School celebrates 12th Annual Day Function

JAMMU: KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura celebrated its twelfth Annual Day Function on Friday at General Zorawar Auditorium, a myriad of celebrations replete with music, dazzling dances and hues of colours amidst great zeal, vibrancy and elation.
Ravinder Raina (President BJP UT J&K), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The programme on the theme ‘UDAAN’ Ek Nayi Soch commenced with the welcome of the guests followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp accompanied by Ganesh Vandana which gave a devotional touch to celebration.
The ebullient dancers of pre-primary, primary and seventh presented thematic ‘A Tradition of Transience’, depicting rich radiant and vibrant cultural dance of Rajasthan. The poignant act by grade one on ‘Wildlife Conservation’.
Spell-binding pursuance by grade second showcasing keep your phone for convenience and not for addiction. Colloquy enacted by third grade depicting the divinity of the omnipotent in Kewat kee Naav.
Enthralling Yoga reverberated with thunderous applause; gleaming faces exchanged appreciative nods as the audience witnessed the perfection and extravaganza of the show.
Pirouette by sixth grade delineating to redeem the Ganga was riveting. The mission towards a healthier and sustainable future. Exhilarating Dogri folk dance Jagarna of J&K enchanted the spectators bearing testimony to the rich culture and heritage bequeathed to us by our forefathers.
The Dribbling moves showing Bhagat Singh’s ‘Long Live the Revolution’ was replete with patriotism. The masterwork depicted Revolution as an inalienable right of mankind.
The programme rode to final crescendo with the fervent Bhangra. It added èlan to the function.
The Chief Guest, in his address, urged students to hone and sharpen their talents and potentials to carve a niche for the nation. He opined that education is incomplete without keeping in view the goal of serving one’s own country.
Academic Director, formally welcomed the Guests and introduced the programme. The Principal of the School, Mamta Sharma presented the Annual report ‘Memorabilia’. She thanked everyone for their contribution in the journey KCGPS. Accolades were bestowed to the exceptional and outstanding performers in the fields of Scholastic, Co-scholastic and sports.
Prominent among other dignitaries who attended the function were Chairman Arvind Mahajan, Sanjhita Mahajan, Academic Director Anu Jandial and the prestigious parents.
The vote of thanks was rendered by the Director, Aarush Choudhary.
The ambience complimented by the tantalizing lighting and sound which was a visual treat to the audience who left the venue spellbound.
The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor.
The programme concluded with scintillating music ensemble cavorting on National Anthem keeping great hope and happiness.
