JAMMU: An Inter-College Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition on the topic ‘Save Environment, Save Life’ was held at KC College of Education, here on Saturday.
Prof. Nissar Ahmed Ganai, Principal KC Law College was the Chief Guest who was welcomed by the Principal of the host College, Prof. Shamima Bano.
Prof. Nissar deliberated upon the topic and appreciated the efforts of the participants in making the event purposeful.
S.L Pandita from K.C. Law College and Sonika Thakur, Creative Head from KC Public School were the judges. In Poster-Making competition, Sonia Gupta and Komalpreet Kour of MC Khalsa College of Education got first prize, second and third prizes were secured by Jigmeet Padma and Heena Jamwal of MIER College of Education and Meena Banal and Sonika Devi of KC Gurukul College of Education respectively.
In Slogan-Writing, Ambreen and Neha Puri of MC Khalsa College of Education got first prize whereas second and third prizes went to Gurpreet Kour of Bhartiya College of Education and Pranika Vij and Snigdha Vij of Sai Shyam College of Education respectively.
The vote of thanks was presented by Roshi Chandan, student of the host college.
