JAMMU: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Wing of KC College of Education in collaboration with Government Medical College (GMC) and Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) organized a blood donation camp in Blood Bank, GMC, Bakshi Nagar, here on Thursday.
Many student volunteers and teachers of the college donated blood.
Prior to that the students were encouraged and motivated for blood donation, the noblest cause on the earth, by Dr. Shamima Bano, Principal, KC College of Education and Programme Officer Dr. Deepshikha Gupta.
Dr. Vijay Sawhney HoD, PG Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, Dr. Nazia Asghar along with her team Sonu Sharma, Counsellor Vijay and Tarseem, NO were the demonstrators of the event.
