JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, while vociferously tearing into the Congress Party and its leaders for organizing the so called ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, has shot a volley of questions for Rahul Gandhi to answer as to how and where India the world’s largest democracy stands broken or disintegrated?
In a statement issued to media the former Deputy Chief Minister asserted that Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is likely to get poor response in J&K as people here are well aware of the hollow slogans of Congress Party, which is one of the political outfits responsible for ruining Kashmir and thus adversely impacting the entire nation.
The senior BJP leader dared to answer the questions to justify the carrying out this controversial Yatra. He said, “Till date, I do not understand why these people are taking out ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ without explaining to the people from where India is broken.”
He asked Rahul Gandhi and his party leaders to respond to his volley of questions which would automatically clear the Congress’ motive behind giving much hype and significance to this Yatra. Some of the significant questions raised by Kavinder Gupta include: Did the removal of Article 370 break India? Has the jailing of separatists in Kashmir broken India? Has India been broken by putting Hurriyat leaders in jail for stopping VIP services in Kashmir? Has India been broken by giving a free hand to the army to kill terrorists? Did the construction of Ram temple break India? Has India been divided by making Kashi Vishwanath Corridor? Did India break up by constructing Mahakal Lok? Did the development of Char Dham break India? Is India divided by the visit of the Prime Minister of India to the temple? Did the Prime Minister’s groundbreaking ceremony for the temple in Ayodhya break India? Is India broken due to jailing of mafia like that of Ansari in UP? Has the first woman President of India broken India by walking 2 kms to visit the Jagannath temple? And last but not the least is India divided by celebrating Tretya-Yug like Diwali in Ayodhya?
Kavinder Gupta asserted that India stands fully united with every inch of its territory and people integrated into a strong unit reflecting Unity in Diversity the great heritage of this land of saints. He reiterated that Rahul’s road march will prove to be a flop show in J&K as it has already lost ground in this part of the nation.
He said that the recent statements of the UT Congress Chief Vikar Rasool Wani about preparations regarding the aforesaid Yatra and large number of people expected to join the same are all lies and part of the party’s dying efforts to motivate people for participation in this controversial Yatra.
