JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Friday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi raising the issue of joblessness.
The senior BJP functionary said, “It is not possible for any government to provide job to every single citizen of the country. Since the inception of the Modi Government several startup schemes have been launched to ensure that youths can become job providers instead of job seekers”.
Kavinder said that Rahul Gandhi is making mountains out of molehill because the schemes launched by Modi government have provided vistas of opportunities to the youths to establish their own ventures instead of running after government jobs which have limited scope to grow and prosper.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta along with Vinay Gupta, BJP District President today participated in a camp organized by the Department of Food, Consumer Affairs & Civil Supplies (F,CA&CS) at Ward No 52 to address the problems being faced by general public with regard to ration and ration cards. The camp was organized with the sincere efforts of Corporator of Ward No 52 Ajay Gupta aiming at providing government services at people’s doorsteps. Kavinder appreciated the efforts of Corporator Ajay Gupta for holding this camp and said that the government is committed to provide best possible services to people at their doorsteps. He said that delivering good governance with pragmatic approach at the doorsteps of the people is the priority of government.
Reiterating his commitment, Kavinder said that the government is making all out efforts to fulfil the demands of the people, with special focus on providing all basic amenities to the people with an agenda of equitable development. He assured that similar initiatives will be taken at other wards also to provide succor to the common man.
