MUMBAI: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta called on Ramesh Bais, Governor of Maharashtra and discussed several issues related to the tourism, and scope of industrial development in J&K. The former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K briefed the Governor regarding the present situation of Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A. He said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir has improved totally and the Union Territory is on the path of development. He said people of the Union Territory have faith of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and have lauded him for provision of sufficient funds for the overall development of UT of J&K. Kavinder urged him to extend his support for motivating the investors to come to Jammu and invest in manufacturing and other sectors. He also extended an invitation to Governor Maharashtra to visit Jammu and Kashmir as there is much potential for tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta also met Rahul Narwekar, Speaker of Maharashtra Assembly and urged him to take forward the initiative taken by BJP Government for infrastructural development in the Union Territory.
