Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday condemned horrendous killing of 40-year-old tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur and demanded exemplary punishment for the killer duo behind this gruesome act of terrorism.
This was stated by Kavinder Gupta while talking to media persons at Hyderabad Airport. Kavinder visited to attend the two-day National Executive meet of BJP which is scheduled to start on July 2.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that such incident was not acceptable at any cost as the same is a serious threat to communal harmony and brotherhood in the country. “Beheading a Hindu tailor with such a brutality in the name of religion cannot be tolerated. Those spreading terror through such brutality should be punished immediately,” he said, adding that people should exercise maximum constraint and defeat hatred together.
Kavinder appealed to the countrymen to maintain peace and brotherhood to thwart the designs of perpetrators of such fanatic actions of terror.
He said that such dastardly acts have no place in a civilized society and therefore the need of the time is to come forward and save the country’s brotherhood and bonhomie.
He said that the barbaric act of violence in Udaipur needs to be probed looking into all angles of terrorism because the blunt attitude of the culprits in this terror incident speaks of a bigger conspiracy which needs to be unraveled and bring to logical conclusion so that such unfortunate incidents do not happen again.
