KATHUA: Two days District Kathua Rollball Championship concluded on Monday at Sports Stadium, here under the banner of Rollball Association of J&K.
In the girls final, Kathua Blue defeated Kathua Orange 6-4 while in boys category, Kathua Blue defeated Kathua Red 3-2. Similarly, in mini boys section, M Red trounced M Blue 6-4. Dhariya was declared best player of the tournament.
The winners and runners-up teams felicitated by the President Awardee Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Hiranagar, Sushma Avtar, who was the chief guest.
Others who were present included Indu Rekha, president Rotary Club Kathua; Dharamveer Singh, social activist and Sunil Sharma, prominent cycling promoter of the district and Dr Deepa Sharma.
The matches conducted under the supervision of Chandan Sharma, International Rollball player in support with Manvijay Singh, Sameer Gupta and Suresh Kumar. Vote of thanks was presented by Mamta Chohan.
