JAMMU: Kathua district and Jammu respective titles in girls and boys section of the Super Seven Cricket Championship organized by J&K UT Super Seven Cricket Association at Cricket Ground, Sanik Colony, here.
In girls final match, Kathua outplayed Jammu district while Jammu district outplayed Udhampur in boys final.
Joint Director School Education Jammu, H.R. Pukhru was the Chief Guest in the closing ceremony, who distributed the trophies among the winner and runner-up teams and blessed the players.
President Supper seven Cricket Federation of India, Kamal Gupta expressed thanks to the Chief guest and appreciated the efforts of players.
“Four players among the teams have been selected for National games,” he said. Ajay Sharma organised the whole tournament.
