JAMMU: In the recently held IKS Cup 2017 under All India Karate Championship organised by Shotoryu Unique Karate Federation at Sikinder Yadav Stadium Ghaziabad (UP), students from JK Public School, Kunjwani, brought laurels to the school by winning medals in the same.
Students namely Sahil Gupta and Fahad Rather won gold medals, Akshat Gupta, Anmol Gupta and Nikhil Saini won silver medals, and Karanjeet Singh, Ridham Mahajan, Momin Gafoor and Shivam Kapoor won bronze medals. JKiians won two gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
The medal winners were congratulated by S.K Singh, Principal, in the morning assembly. He said that such talent should be an inspiration for others. He also lauded the efforts of the Coach, Gopal Dass.
