JAMMU: A two-day long National Karate Championship was held in JK Public School Kunjwani in which 19 states from all over India participated. Karatekas from the host School also participated and brought laurels to the school by winning medals.
Karatekas of the school won 31 medals including eight gold, 13 silver and 10 bronze in their respective categories. The school team participated under the supervision of Sensai, Gopal Dass.
The medal winners were congratulated by S.K Singh, Principal, in the morning assembly. He said that such talent should be an inspiration for others. He also lauded the efforts of the Coach, Gopal Dass.
