JAMMU: JKPS Kunjwani has yet again proved its mettle by bringing laurels in the just declared result of CBSE tenth class. The cent percent result with 42 CGPA 10 grades of JKPS portrays that it has expertise in honing the skills of young minds.
The main highlight of this year’s dazzling performance by JKPS in tenth class examination is the rocking achievement of its outstanding student Karan Vijay Vaidya, who created history by securing 93 per cent marks and attaining 58th rank in National CBSE Special Category Merit List. He topped the table under the same category in J and K. This accomplishment of Karan, who is suffering from Muscular Dystrophy disease, has set an example for others to follow.
At the first stance, nobody could make out that this young boy has so much fire and vigour inside but when one scrolls down into Karan’s heart, one would stumble upon the smoldering desire to make it big in life lying locked in there waiting to be unlocked.
This desire he has successfully unleashed by attaining top slot in the State and 58th across country.
Interacting with STATE TIMES, Karan Vijay Vaidya simply gave the credit of his brilliant performance to his teachers, parents and the school.
‘‘I will not shy away in saying that my parents and teachers at JKPS are solely responsible for everything I got and would get in life,’’ he subtly maintained. Giving a reply on his hobbies and interests, he said that he has great penchant for reading books, computers, photography and above all travelling.
Responding to a query about his study schedule, Karan said that he used to study for two to three hours daily.
Karan has all praise for his teachers at JKPS School who according to him acted as a continuous source of inspiration throughout the academic session by providing unending support and extremely cordial environment which kindled extra determination and required will power for which he was longing since long. Karan told STATE TIMES that he joined JKPS Kunjwani in the session 2013-14.
In his message for specially-abled, Karan said that positive attitude and a determination that ‘one will not give up come what may’ is the key to overcome the extra difficult circumstances which usually such section of people face.
The management, principal and staff of JKPS Kunjwani have extended heartiest congratulations to Karan and his parents on his towering achievement.
