Kala Vriksh holds clay modelling workshop

JAMMU: Kala Vriksh, a contemporary sculpture studio founded by internationally renowned artist couple Sonu Aggarwal and Chander Parkash, on Sunday organised a clay modelling workshop to promote art among children.

Fifty students with their parents participated in the event and created beautiful small sculptures with their imagination.

Children interacted with artists of the State who appreciated the sculptures created by the children and also shared their experience of art.

Sonu Aggarwal, founder member of Kala Vriksh, said that clay modelling helps the child sharpen his perception and observation of his social environments.

Chander Parkash said that art helps the children use their own imagination and devolve his own concept and expression.

Chatterpal, renowned poet and writer of the State, also appreciated art works prepared   in the workshop.   Students of IMFA  also participated  in the workshop.

Renowned Artists Manoj Chopra, Dr Kamal Sharma, Roshi, Lovesh and Shakti Singh were also present.

The workshop was organised in collaboration with Aggarwal Sabha and Ashok & Brothers RS Pura.
