JAMMU: The residents of Jammu West Constituency under the leadership of Jammu West Assembly Movement President Sunil Dimple held a protest on Amphalla-Janipur road on Friday against the scarcity of electricity and water supply in the area.
The protesters raised slogans against PDD Minister and the sitting MLA Satpal Sharma. They also demanded MLA’s resignation for his incompetency of providing basic amenities in the constituency.
Dimple alleged that the Jammu city is facing long duration power cuts and many localities in West Assembly Constituency are without electricity for the last one week.
He demanded CBI inquiry into the work done and poles erected by the IRCON as the work done in the Jammu city by IRCON is not to the prescribed norms and the grid installed is total failure.
