JWAM demands ouster of Rohingyas, Bangladeshis

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Expressing concern over the settlement of foreign nationals in and around Jammu city, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) demanded immediate ouster of Rohingyas, Bangladeshis from the State.
Speaking to media persons, President JWAM, Sunil Dimple alleged that Rohingyas and Bangladeshis have encroached the State land in the outskirts of Jammu city.
Dimple regretted that BJP leadership was merely issuing press statements but has done nothing to deport these illegal immigrants. He alleged that these immigrants had involved in several criminal and rebellious activities.
“They are suspected to be involved in various anti-national activities like drug trafficking and Hawala transactions at the behest of enemies of the nation,” Dimple said, adding that their presence would lead to increase in pro-separatist as well as anti-India activities in the State.
Coming down heavily on the statement of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Dimple strongly opposed the move of providing jobs and compensation to stone pelters besides dropping cases against them.
Dimple alleged the Chief Minister has already provided job to the son of separatist’s leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and State BJP leaders are maintaining criminal silence on the issues. He alleged that for the sake of power the BJP has totally surrendered before its coalition partner.
Later, the JWAM activists also took out a protest rally on Janipur High Court road against the government for not paying heed to their demands.
Among those who joined the protest include Sham Saroop, Harbans Tandon, Ram Kapoor, Vijay Khajuria, Dr O.N Pandita, Dev Raj, Vipin Kumar, Mukesh Vicky, Ram Kumar Das, Mukesh, Babu, Ashok Khanna, Rakesh Sharma, Aslam Khan, Akram Khan and Karan Singh.
