JAMMU: In view of damages caused to the false ceiling of the Judo Hall within the Indoor Complex, the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council has shifted the coaching centre to Wrestling Hall of the MA Stadium, here. “The coaching centre has been temporarily shifted to Wrestling Hall of the MA Stadium. The repair work of Judo hall shall start soon by the Engineering Wing of the Sports Council,” Manager Indoor Complex, Satish Gupta told.
Pertinent to mention here that the false ceiling of the Judo Hall got damaged due to windstorm a week ago thus affected the normal coaching classes.
“The training sessions of young judokas got affected for a couple of days, but after they were shifted to MA Stadium, the normal classes have been resumed by the two coached deputed by
the Sports Council,” added the Manager.
Around 100 young and senior judo players have been registered with the State Sports Council training centre.
