JAMMU: Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association today bid a warm send off to its founder member S.K Shavotra, Section Officer (Administration) on his superannuation after rendering 36 years unblemished service in the University.
Association President R.L Kaith and other members appreciated the sincerity and dedication of Shavotra in the performance of his duties and wished him a prosperous, healthy and happy post retirement life. They presented to him a number of gifts as token of love.
Meanwhile, Association expanded its Executive Body by including into it Milkhi Ram Malhotra, Pardeep Kumar Shavotra, Kewal Krishan Shagotra, Suman Kumar, Shehnaz Akhter and Neelam Bhagat as members.
The Association also hailed the appointment of former Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohan Paul Singh Ishar as Vice-Chancellor of Maharaj Ranjit Singh State Technical University Bathinda. Association members sent to him a congratulation letter wishing him all the best for future.
Prominent among others who participated in the meet included Surjeet Singh Heer, Om Parkash, Des Raj Nandan, Des Raj, Mulkh Raj, Sukhdev Bhagat, Kunj Lal Bhagat and Choudhary Shah Alam.
