Jammu: Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu to carry forward the Gandhian thoughts and to commemorate the Birth anniversary of Father of the Nation organized National Level Online Poster & Slogan Writing Competition for the students and scholars. The results of the competition were declared by Prof. Jasbir Singh, Dean Students Welfare.
In Poster Making Competition,first position was secured by Anshin Paul from MES Asmabi College Aquaculture Department,Vemballna,Kerala whereas second and third position in poster making competition was secured by Mohd. Irfan from Govt P.G College,Rajouri & Jugesh Singh from Dept of Geology,JUrespectively.
In Slogan Writing Competition, first position was secured by Rajani Verma from DLIS, JU whereas second and third position in slogan writing competition was secured by Pinky Sharma from Gautam College of Nursing, Himachal Pradesh& Gurdarshan Singh from DLIS, JU.
Prof. Manoj K. Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu congratulated the winners of both events.He appreciated the efforts of Department of Students Welfare for involving students from other parts of the country in such activities.More such activities should be organized to explore the talent and creativity of the students,he said. Prof Anupama Vohra, Chairperson, Campus Cultural Committee adjudged the Posters & Slogans received from students. The competition was coordinated by Ms. Ifra Kak, Cultural Officer and was supported by Arif Paul, Technical Asst.
