JAMMU: The ongoing protest of Non-Gazetted Employees Union, University of Jammu, (JU NGBU) to mount pressure on JU authorities to address their long pending demands continued for the sixth consecutive day here on JU campus.
The day six of protest witnessed a rally of NGEU members and supporter, which was led by President NGEU Vijay Kumar.
However, meeting of the Task Force Committee constituted by the Vice Chancellor Jammu University with NGEU leaders on 23rd June remained inconclusive.
Alleging harassment of colleague by Rector Bhadarwah Campus G.M Bhatt, Vijay cautioned Jammu University authorities to address the issue on priority. He also urged Chancellor and Pro-chancellor JU to intervene and ensure early redressal of problems being faced by NGEU members.
