JTC concerned over delay in completion of temple complex

JAMMU: Jagti Tenenent Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) expressed serious concern over the non- completion of construction works in the open land specified for Mandir Complex situated in between Lane No. 14-15 at Jagti Nagrota.
In the meeting held here on Wednesday, President JTC/SKF, Shadi Lal Pandita apprised the participants that though the government had identified the piece of land for construction of temple complex but the construction was not taken up.
The Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J and K raised funds by donation and starts part construction works which including construction of compound walling, installation of Shiv Lingam and raising some structures but due to paucity of funds the remaining proposed structures like two big halls, Geeta Hall and Dharamshalla could not be taken up as the donation raised has totally exhausted and no further donations have been received.
The participants have made an appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner as well as State Government for arranging funds for sanction and release for construction of remaining proposed structures in Temple complex at Jagti Nagrota to fulfill the wishes of the migrant community.
Others who were present in the meeting include Raj Kumar Tickoo, Kashi Nath Bhat, Sunil Koul, R.K Raina, Raj Kumar Bhat, Mithan Pandita, C.L Pandita, S.L Kar, Hari Krishan Pandita, R.K Pandita, M.L Aima, R.K Pandita, Ramesh Bhat, Satesh Pandita, S.L Bhat, C.L Bhat, P.N Pandita, P.N Koul, Brij Nath Thusoo, G.L Koul and O.N Bhat.
