JAMMU: Students of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu brought laurels in Third J and K State (cadets) Taekwondo Championship 2017 organised by Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association at Brahman Sabha Parade, here recently.
Ashish Saini bagged gold medal in U-37 kg and Vikas Bhagat secured silver in U-41 kg category. Students were coached by Jagpreet Kour.
Ashish Saini is selected for Third National Cadet Taekwondo Championship 2017-18 to be held from August 4, 2017 at Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
Chief Guest in closing ceremony was Ranjeet Kalra, Vice Chairman District Sports Council, Jammu who gave away medals to winners.
School Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima lauded the efforts of teacher and students and congratulated them for the great accomplishment.
